CHF 10,000 were donated for the prize. In addition to its technological innovation in machine tool construction, Starrag also promotes new ways of working with customers to increase overall benefits for them.

As part of her research, Dr Anna Selent examined purchasing-related digital customer interactions and their hubs in the industrial software industry, defining “digital interaction hubs” as an innovative approach to marketing and sales on business-to-business markets.

In his study, Selent explored digital purchasing interactions from the perspective of the affected buyer and supplier, and analyzed online content from several software vendors. It defines “digital interaction hubs” as virtual places, which have a high density of interactions linked to purchases and which include centers of communication, transaction and interaction based on the Internet. These hubs allow suppliers to have structured access to respond to a buyer’s information needs and interactions, to support buyers throughout their buying journey, and to positively influence the buyer – regardless of time. where the buying journeys started and at what stage they are.
