GEORGE TOWN, April 9 – Penang plans to implement a “three-in-one” marketing strategy to boost and attract the state’s tourism demands in the international market.

In a statement, the state’s executive adviser for tourism and creative economy, Yeoh Soon Hin, said the marketing strategy would involve aviation, hospitality and attractions to ensure the state would be at full steam before her onward voyage.

“Malaysia Aviation Group will reinstate Penang as the northern region base hub for Firefly, effective April 11.

“After this reinstatement, the first exercise we will see under the three-in-one strategy is offering discounts on Firefly airfares for travelers staying more than one night at hotels in Penang,” he said. he declared.

He said Firefly also plans to launch new air routes to other Southeast Asian countries, in addition to connecting Penang with Sabah and Sarawak.

“At this time, the flights we can expect from this recovery on Monday are direct flights from Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Johor Baru to Penang,” he added. ― Bernama
